Chef Alan Zox, the publisher of the Zox Kitchen Blog, invites you to submit your recipe by April 2, 2020. The prize being offered in this Contest is the publication of the winning recipe in the Zox Kitchen Website! Chef Zox will cook a number of the best recipes submitted and make the final decision for posting based on taste. 

TO ENTER, HERE IS WHAT YOU NEED TO DO:

  1. Review Contest rules below and then email your recipe with your name, town, and state and attach a jpg image of your dish (on a white plate please). to [email protected]   by April 2,  2020.
  2. Be sure to include a statement in your email that you have read and agree to Contest Rules (below).
  3. If you are the winner, you will see your recipe published in our Zox Kitchen Blog

CONTEST RULES

  1. No purchase is necessary- No purchase is necessary to enter or win. all federal, state, local, and municipal laws and regulations apply. void where prohibited.
  2. Prize and Notification- We will publish the winning recipe in our blog with jpg image of plated dish submitted. The winner will be notified by email. Chef Zox will select finalists based on submissions and select the winning recipe after preparing each finalist’s dish. After April 30th, the recipe of the winner will be visible on the zoxkitchen.com website blog with winner’s plated dish image and their name, city, and state.
  3. Eligibility– Publish Your Recipe (the “Contest”) is open to legal residents of the fifty (50) United States and the District of Columbia. Employees of Zox Kitchen as well as the immediate family (spouse, parents, siblings, and children) and household members of each such employee are not eligible. The Contest is subject to federal, state, and local laws and regulations.
  4. Sponsor- The Contest is sponsored by Zox Kitchen, located online at zoxkitchen.com and at 208 Loring Avenue, West Dennis, MA 02670. All reviews of submitted recipes will be done by Chef Alan Zox.
  5. Agreement to Official Rules- Participation in the Contest constitutes entrant’s full and unconditional agreement to, and acceptance of, these Official Rules and the decisions of the Zox Kitchen, which are final and binding. Winning a prize is contingent upon being compliant with these Official Rules and fulfilling all other requirements set forth herein.
  6. Contest Period– The Contest begins on December 31, 2019 at 8am pst and ends on April 2, 2020 at 11:59pm pst (the “Contest Period”). Entries that are submitted before or after the Contest Period will be disqualified.
  7. How to Enter- Email your recipe with your name, town, and state and attach a jpg of an image of your dish (on a white plate please) to [email protected] by April 2, 2020. Limit one (1) entry per person, per email address, and per household for the duration of the Contest Period. Entries received from any person, e-mail address, or household in excess of the stated limitation will be void. Any entry may win and be published by Zoxkitchen.com and will not be acknowledged or returned. If recipes are published, entrant’s name, and town will be acknowledged.
  8. Selection of Winning Recipe- On or about April 3, 2020, Chef Alan will begin selecting potential winners based on Ingredients, Taste and Creativity from among all eligible entries received. The odds of being selected depend on the number of entries received. He will cook the finalist recipes and choose the winner based on ingredients, instructions, plated dish appearance and taste. Zox Chef will attempt to notify the selected winner via email on or about April 30, 2020. After April 30, 2020, the recipe of the winner will be visible on the zoxkitchen.com website blog with the winner’s name, city, and state.
  9. General Conditions- In the event the Contest is unable to run as planned for any other reason, as determined by Zox Kitchen in its sole discretion, the Kitchen may, in its sole discretion, suspend the Contest to address the impairment and then resume the Contest in a manner that best conforms to the spirit of these Official Rules.
  10. Original Property- By participating in the Contest, entrants agree that the recipe and/or image they submit is their original property and there are no other parties with any rights claims on the recipe and/or image. Entrant confirms the recipe and/or image they are submitting has not been previously published anywhere else.
  11. Release and Limitations of Liability- Entrants agree to release and hold harmless Zox Kitchen, and any social media companies, including but not limited to, Facebook, Instagram, and Pinterest where information about the Contest is shared, and each of their respective officers, directors, employees, shareholders, representatives, and agents (the Released Parties) from and against any claim or cause of action arising out of participation in the Contest. Entrant further agrees that in any cause of action, the Released Parties liability will be limited to the cost of entering and participating in the Contest, and in no event shall the entrant be entitled to receive attorney’s fees. Released Parties are also not responsible for any incorrect or inaccurate information, whether caused by site users, tampering, hacking, or by any equipment or programming associated with or utilized in the Contest. Entrant waives the right to claim any damages whatsoever, including, but not limited to, punitive, consequential, direct, or indirect damages.
  12. Disputes- Except where prohibited, each entrant agrees that any and all disputes, claims, and causes of action arising out of, or connected with, the Contest or any prize awarded shall be resolved individually, without resort to any form of class action, and exclusively by the appropriate court located in Massachusetts. All issues and questions concerning the construction, validity, interpretation, and enforceability of these Official Rules, entrants rights, and obligations, or the rights and obligations of the Sponsor in connection with the Contest, shall be governed by, and construed in accordance with, the laws of Massachusetts, without giving effect to any choice of law or conflict of law rules, which would cause the application of the laws of any jurisdiction other than Massachusetts.
